This is a Rhythm surf documentary brought together by likeminded folk to blend surf, art, music, travel & craftsmanship through various chapters, into one total experience. The film takes you on a journey around the world from Australia’s East Coast to Indonesia, Northern Africa and the famous pointbreaks of central California. Also, enjoy the original soundtrack
recorded in the Rhythm warehouse by Neal Purchase Jnr & The Brown Byrds plus Alex Wall from the Wax Witches.
Featuring Neal Purchase Jr, Asher Pacey, Ryan Lovelace, Kai Annetts, Jordan Spee and Diogo Appleton.
CHAPTER 1: ‘THIS IS RHYTHM’
Kai Annetts and Jordan Spee are two unique buddies who chose their own path of traditional
surfing with a modern flare. Hatched into an amphibious life of salt water and sand, just a stones
throw from the groomed perfection and hub of eclectic and alternative surfing, Noosa Heads, has
given these kids the perfect environment to find themselves at the forefront of the youth ‘logging’ movement.
Asher Pacey take one shot at mutually crafting a surfboard, then testing the fruits of their labor
on the famed points of Central California, was a project which couldn’t be surpassed. Ryan’s mad
scientist techniques and Asher’s seamless flow on a wave were a perfect exhibition of a co-created
asymmetrical twin fin.
